Clinicopathological Study of Salivary Gland Tumours

Background: Salivary gland tumours are relatively uncommon and constitute 3% to 10% of all head & neck neoplasms. The majority salivary arise in the parotid gland.
 Objectives: To search clinicopathological presentation tumours.
 Methods: This was a cross sectional study.
 Results: highest incidence benign tumors 3rd 4th decade, whereas for malignant tumor it 5thdecade life. Among 47 male patients, 72.3% had 27.7% cases tumours. Out 40 female patients 45% 55% With overall male: ratio 1.2:1. 62.32% 37.68% 12 submandibular 41.67% 58.33% 35 tumours, Mucoepidermoid carcinoma, occurred 10(83.3%) followed by 1(8.3%) minor glands 1(8.3%). 11 reported as Adenoid cystic involved 6(54.5%) 4(36.4%).
 Conclusion: Benign more common than ones. There is preponderance Pleomorphic adenoma most frequently encountered tumour among Bangladesh J Otorhinolaryngol 2022; 28(1): 96-102
